Our posture seems to deteriorate as we age, or it can be as a result of a medical condition or just as a
result of our job and the postures we assume during the day.
Many times we see ourselves bent forward or keeping our head forward. We have some neck and back
discomfort and we usually do not hold ourselves erect.
The truth is we fight gravity every day, in addition to this, all of the activities we do are in front of our
bodies… we eat, write, reach for things, drive etc. all in front …unless we swim backstroke every day we
really do not normally do any activity to strengthen your back musculature. So little by little our back
muscles stretch out… and unless we make a conscious effort to strengthen them we lose our postural
